LM™ Mixer makes the news… Again!

The existing anaerobic digestion system at the Kitchener WWTP consists of two primary digesters followed by two secondary digesters which are operated as sludge holding tanks. Both the primary digesters were equipped with gas lance mixing system which was at the end of its useful life and no longer performed as intended.

To upgrade an aging digestion system, the plant decided to add a new steel cover, heating and mixing systems and convert one of the existing secondary digester for both biosolids and biogas storage.
