Ovivo’s Approach to Sustainable and Efficient Water Treatment

You may not think about the global water crisis every day, but the team at Ovivo is dedicated to addressing it daily. Access to clean water is a fundamental human right and we are committed to accelerating change and developing innovative solutions to provide clean and accessible water for all.

One of our key initiatives is the production of SiCBLOX™ membranes in Europe and the US. These membranes provide effective and durable water treatment solutions that help solve many water issues. Our clearBLOX™ SiC Drinking Water Filtration prevents dangerous toxins and chemicals from entering our drinking water. Our ecoBLOX® SiC Membrane Bioreactor offers high resilience and low life cycle costs compared to traditional polymeric membrane systems. Our SolidBLOX™ SiC Sludge Thickening efficiently thickens waste activated sludge while our stormBLOX™ SiC Rapid Storm Treatment produces reusable quality water that is safe for human health and the environment without the use of chemicals. Finally, our ultraBLOX™ SiC tertiary filtration and reuse system effectively removes contaminants of concern (COCs) and produces high-quality effluent while reducing downstream reverse osmosis costs for advanced reuse applications.

We are also developing technology solutions that meet or exceed environmental regulations, such as our H2PW™ systems. These fully integrated modular solutions for green hydrogen water treatment are designed to remove dissolved contaminants from water sources without the use of bulk chemicals, minimising energy and water consumption.

Our Global Knowledge Centers bring together experts to collaborate and foster partnerships with businesses, governments, academics, and local communities to improve metals wastewater, Ultrapure water (UPW) and other challenges, such as PFAs and other contaminants.

Furthermore, we have strengthened our partnership with the One Drop Foundation . The One Drop Foundation aims to ensure sustainable access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene for communities worldwide through innovative partnerships, creativity, and the power of art, while upholding the values of respect, integrity, collaboration, innovation, and fun. We are also continuing to help innovative start-ups to launch new water solutions through our partnership with AquaAction.

The global water crisis is a complex challenge that requires action from all sectors of society. At Ovivo, we are committed to doing our part by collaborating with partners around the world to develop innovative solutions that promote sustainable and efficient water treatment solutions. We look forward to continuing to drive progress and make a positive impact in the years to come.
