Ovivo is thrilled to announce a significant milestone: Cembrane has achieved NSF-419 certification for our SiCBlox ceramic membranes. This certification underscores our commitment to excellence, innovation, and ensuring safe drinking water for all.<\/p>\n

The NSF\/ANSI 419 standard focuses on public drinking water equipment performance – filtration. It evaluates the efficiency of filtration devices in removing microorganisms, particularly Cryptosporidium. This microscopic parasite can pose health risks, and our certified equipment ensures its effective removal.<\/p>\n

Our certified products have undergone rigorous testing, resulting in the remarkable log removal value (LRV): 4.22 at 425 LMH. This translates to our membranes removing >99.99% of microorganisms larger than 3\u00b5m.<\/p>\n

This certification is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, led by Niklas Andreassen (CTO), with support from engineers Henriette Binderup, and Sisse Reichhardt.<\/p>\n

In addition to ensuring safe drinking water, our NSF-419-certified membranes also contribute to substantial water savings. Every glass of safe, clean drinking water produced by SiC has a smaller carbon footprint compared to polymeric membranes*. Lastly, they reduce the use of chemicals and lower the overall production cost, making our solutions both economically and environmentally sustainable.<\/p>\n\n
