Brackett Green® Double and Single Entry Drum Screen

Brackett Drum Screens are designed to meet the increasing demand for high capacity fine screening of water and wastewater. A variety of engineering designs and flow patterns have been developed for both raw water intakes and wastewater. Single drum screens are capable of flow rates from 20 MGD (31 ft3/sec) to 800 MGD (1,240 ft3/sec) minimizing the number of intake channels required.

Brackett Green® Drum Screens

Ovivo’s Brackett Green® drum screens are designed to meet the demand for high capacity fine screening of raw water combined with a robust low maintenance design. Brackett Green drum screens effectively removes floating and suspended solids to protect pumps, heat exchangers and other critical equipment. Fitted with screening apertures ranging from 1.5 mm to 10 mm, they can be installed as a single unit or, more commonly, as part of a two- or three-stage system. Applications include water intakes for Thermal and Nuclear Power Plant, Desalination, Petro-Chemical, Metal Smelting and Common Cooling Water Intakes.
